Dr. Hu 毕业于 同济医科大学（医学学士），并在 英国伦敦大学国王学院取得生物化学硕士学位，随后完成 生物学博士。她曾在 美国国家医学研究院（NIH）、斯坦福大学 以及英国伦敦大学等世界知名科研与教学机构从事研究和生物教学 三十余年。
在 NIH 任教期间，Dr. Hu 曾担任 FAES 研究生院生物学讲师，并多年指导 AP Biology 与生物奥赛，积累了丰富的中学生辅导经验。
Dr. Hu 的教学风格 清晰严谨、深入浅出、学术与实践并重，深受学生喜爱。

    👩‍🏫 Instructor: Dr. Hu

    Dr. Hu holds a Bachelor of Medicine from Tongji Medical University, a Master’s in Biochemistry from King’s College London, and a PhD in Biology. She has spent over 30 years conducting research and teaching biology at world-renowned institutions including the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), Stanford University, and the University of London.

    At NIH, Dr. Hu served as a lecturer in Biology at the FAES Graduate School and has extensive experience coaching students in both AP Biology and Biology Olympiads.

    Her teaching style is clear, rigorous, and engaging, blending academic depth with real-world application—qualities that make her highly respected by her students.

    Student Achievements:

    • In the USA Biology Olympiad, nearly half of her students have reached the semifinals, with many finishing in the Top 50 and even representing the U.S. in international competitions.

    • Every year, 75%+ of her students earn Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals in the British Biology Olympiad.

    • In 2019, one of her students won 1st place in the Canadian Biology Olympiad.

    • In the notoriously difficult AP Biology exam, over 80% of Dr. Hu’s students score a 5, including many 9th graders with no prior AP coursework.

    This preparation course covers all topics at intermediate level(L1) or advanced level(L2) of the theoretical knowledge of the International Biology Olympiad curriculum (https://www.ibo-info.org/en/), it will help you to get a high score on USA, UK and Canada Biology Olympiad Competitions by providing guidance on how to attack multiple-choice questions (MCQ), and how to manage your time to maximize the number of points available to you. Dr. Hu has helped numerous students achieved the highest scores in these Biology Competitions.
