For Grades 7–10 aspiring writers preparing for the Scholastic Writing Competition!
This intensive camp helps students:

  • Develop core creative writing techniques proven to transform raw creativity into polished, award-winning storytelling.

  • Gain mentorship on narrative craft, style, and structure.

  • Draft and refine two complete stories ready for Scholastic submission.

📝 Pre-Class Requirement
One week before the first session, students must email a complete draft (max 1500 words) of an original story or personal essay to the instructor at tony@elevated.school for workshop scheduling.

  • A graduate of Yale University with a degree in English Literature, Mr. Hao is an award-winning fiction writer whose work has been featured in several respected literary journals. His students have earned top honors in regional and national competitions.
